White River: A Journey up and down the River Findhorn

Summary
Jamie Whittle's first book describes his foot journey to the source of the Findhorn, one of the world's great salmon rivers, and his canoe journey back down. His observations and thoughts along the way are nourished by his many previous journeys around the world, to Alaska, Ladakh, Central Africa, the Caribbean and the Pacific Islands. His concerns about the state of the world but optimism for the future - provided we address our relationship with the natural world soon. His first book has already been recognised as a masterwork by such distinguished authors as Sir John Lister-Kaye and Cameron McNeish.
