Kimberly Smith-Morris is a twenty-nine-year-old author from Baton Rouge, Louisiana. As a mother of three, she has experienced her share of life’s ups and downs. Her poetry is centered around her life experiences, thoughts and emotions. She touches subjects that range from failed relationships to loss of loved ones to faith in God. She uses her poetry as therapy to vent emotions, stating, “With poetry, I am the therapist and the patient.”
