Summary

When fate calls Lavinia MacDonald from her London fashion business to be mistress of Glenrannoch, the lovely, time-worn manor of her ancestors, she learns the legend of the 'Midnight walker' who brings death to her family. Terrified on her first night at the manor by the ominous thudding of footsteps outside her door, Lavinia suspects that someone wishes the sinister legend to be fulfilled. Though fearful for her life, Lavinia won't give up Glenrannoch, or the two men vying for her love.
