Summary
Our Next of Kin is a sequel to Ed Krause's first novel, Our Kinfolks. Junior, one of the characters from Our Kinfolks, is now twenty-four years old. Looking forward to joining a prestigious law firm upon his graduation from law school, Junior has to change his plans when his high-school buddy, an American Indian from a nearby Indian reservation, is found dead. Junior returns to his hometown and starts a solo law practice. Investigations
into his friend's death soon entangle him with Indian-reservation politics, land developers, and environmentalists.
