Summary

One night, a few minutes before they are about to sit down together for supper, Sylvie Black and her husband Kim agree that he should nip out quickly to buy some ice cream. Kim fails to return, choosing wilfully instead to go astray, leaving Sylvie to the torturous agony of bewilderment.
