Prince of Danger

Summary
Lady Isobel Macleod is incurably curious and always speaks her mind. At the age of 12, she vowed never to marry and always to do as she pleases. When she stumbles upon Michael St. Clair being beaten by a gang of men, she tries to intervene and finds herself taken captive along with him. The two escape, and Isobel finds herself curious about her companion. In fact, Michael is the younger brother of a prince and member of a wealthy family with a fabulous secret, which his father carried to the grave. An honourable man, Michael accompanies Isobel home to safety, only to learn their time together has damaged her reputation. He agrees to marry her, and despite her reluctance, Isobel eventually concedes. When they travel to Michael's family home, Isobel's curious nature may finally pay off as they unravel the family secret.
