Summary

Bingo Brown is a 10-year-old philosopher. His favourite teacher is Mr Mason, an eccentric and interesting young man. But Bingo and his friends come to realize that Mr Mason is not eccentric, but troubled. When near-tragedy strikes, Bingo becomes aware of the complexities of life.
