Wine into Words: A History and Bibliography of Wine Books in the English Language, Second Edititon

Summary
Gabler has written extensively about wine, and lectures around the US about it and about Jefferson (presumably Thomas not Davis). Here is a labor of love for him a bibliography of books about wine and wine-related topics enhanced by deeply informed annotations. The 7,800 entries are presented alphabetically by author or title, but to the 1985 first edition he has added a subject index to complement the short-title index; alas it refers to page numbers rather than entries, so a second search is required. He is not selective, accepting the judgment of librarians and their catalogers as to whether a booklet or broadside adds significantly to the wine literature.
