Neuroanatomy - Basic & Applied

Summary
This third edition of the highly acclaimed and popular text continues to offer a concise account of functional anatomy in the context of practical clinical neurology. Having been thoroughly revised and updated, the chapter listing remains unchanged with one exception. The blood supply to the brain is now considered in two chapters rather than one - basic anatomy has been integrated with earlier topographic chapters whilst the clinical applications have been described in a final new chapter devoted to cerebrovascular disease. Important new features in this edition include an expanded use of color to assist with the interpretation of illustrations, study guidelines at the beginning of each chapter, a synopsis of core information at the end of each chapter, self-test set of multiple choice questions for each chapter, and a glossary of neuroanatomical/neurological terms including reference to the main chapters where these terms occur.
